This system requires a raid capable of external SAS connection this is a 1u cabinet. Comes with two 3foot sas to raid card cables. This will not fit in a standard desktop computer! There are no returns, so please make sure this will fit your environment. There are no rails. I used this for proxmox backups, and because each drive has its own cable, proxmox was able to write to both drives simultaneously, you are not going to see a lot of these out in the wild. This is a rare item if you work with RDX cartridges and backups
