Indian Wars - Model 1876 U.S. CAVALRY BOOTS Indian Wars - Original Model 1876 U.S. CAVALRY BOOTS The boots were purchased in sizes 5 through 12. These boots are stamped on the sole size 6. The number 8 standard 15-1/2" high in the front and 14" in the back. The boots of all sizes with appropriate variations on smaller and larger sizes. These boots are sized 13-1/4" in the front and 12-1/4" in the back. Known as contract boots with wood-pegged soles.
