Temp-Stats are available for both heating and cooling applications. Each Temp-Stat is metal encapsulated and protected by an outer PVC jacket. Temp-Stats are electro mechanical switches for low voltage applications of less than 1Amp @ 24VAC. They are not a NOT resistive load or sensor.iO Temp-Stats can be used in numerous HVAC applications where a non-adjustable thermostat is required. They are most commonly used to prevent excessive energy waste caused by trades people turning up or down a conventional thermostat.
