I am therefore now using only GENUINE Lolin Wemos control boards (now updated to v4.0!), manufactured by the genuine and trusted original developer of these components. The market is flooded with wemos 'clones' that are cheap Chinese copies of these boards; they often have issues with increased power drain and poor wifi strength that will severely impact the operation of the iSpindel. The GENUINE boards I use are more than double the price, but are far more reliable, and built to a far higher standard. Latest v4.0 Geniune Lolin Wemos D1 Mini control board. This has been updated by the manufacturer to use the latest components for optimal performance! I have tested the rubber gasket that some suggest can be used to prevent leaks, but I actually find that this can *cause* leaks! The tubes are designed to fully seal and be water tight - and just like a pressurised coke bottle, they do not need an additional rubber seal. Indeed, this can become distorted when tightening the cap, and increase the risk of a poor seal. I therefore DO NOT include one - just make sure you fully tighten the cap. AVOID any listing that do not show the battery they are using - they will likely be the wrong weight, and potentially dangerous.
