Check the listing for details. Japanese Chisel Ebony Handle 9mm restored. Condition: Used. Listed at 28.00 USD. If you have never used a Japanese chisel you need to try one. They take an incredibly sharp edge. They are made from high carbon steel which is much better for cutting than any stainless steel. They do oxidize though. I have filed through the rust. The wood and metal have been oiled. I used linseed oil on everything then an oil-wax combo on the wood. The hoop has been set and the blade sharpened and is very sharp. It has a 9mmblade and is about 6inches long. The handle appears to be ebony wood. It looks like it has the blacksmith’s signature but isn’t as obvious as on other chisels.
