Check the listing for details. JDS Uniphase uGreen 4611-20 DPSS Laser Head with Controller but DAMAGED - READ. Condition: For parts or not working. Listed at 250.00 USD. This is a JDSU µGreen 4611-20 532 nm DPSS laser head with matching controller. It is in somewhat bedraggked cosmetic condition with some dings and scrapes on the laser head. The controller is in good cosmetic condition. But the Vanadate crystal is damaged where the lasing takes place. The pump beam has been offset to get some power but the beam is slightly weak and very multi-spatial mode. This may be repairable: The OC mirror would need to be moved over slightly and then the entire crystal assembly would need to be moved so the new lasing area coincides with the pump beam. This is a bit tricky but should be all screwdriver work. In its present condition, the output is 15 to 20 mW after warmup (around 5 minutes) with a spatial mode of something like TEM03 - a short row of spots with other unsightly blemished thrown in. See the last photo. That is kind of funky but not real useful for most applications. And it is definitely NOT SLM. This requires a 5 VDC, 5 A power supply (not included). What is included: The µGreen laser head, controller, umbilical cable, and DC power cable terminated in a 5.5/2.1mm barrel connector. The interlock/control connector is jumpered so the laser will come on at maximum power. So, consider this a challenge. If successful, this would be a very nice SLM laser. Or mate the controller with your orphan µGreen laser head. However, it is not known whether that would be straightforward. Sold as-is.
