This uncirculated red 5 Jordan dinar banknote is part of the first family of banknotes issued by the Central Bank of Jordan that does not have a date due to the censorship of references to the authorizing law of 1959. However, the note has two signatures on its obverse side: Salem Massadeh as the Minister of Finance and Said Al Nabulsi as the Governor of the Central Bank. Its obverse side contains the profile of King Hussein bin Talal. Its reverse side contains a view of the rock-cut architecture of Al Khazneh (The Treasury) in Petra. It has a solid security thread and a watermark of King Hussein wearing a kuffiyeh. Its dimensions are 164 mm by 82 mm.
