This came from a really good friend of mine back at Fort Bragg. We went through Ranger School together. He went this distance and ended up going Special Forces. Had access to all kinds of gear I did not in The 82nd. This was back in '05 or '06. Can't remember exactly for sure. Yes, SF was rockin' the UCP Uniforms also, at least in garrison (but everyone just called them ACU's back then.) This pack is in the early stages of starting to get a little sticky inside. Not badly. Nothing like the USGI packs that get downright goopy inside over time. As always, I'm big on complete transparency. Personally, all my packs are getting sticky these days. Some worse than others. Personally, I rub some baby powder inside of mine. Let them sit for a day, take my electric leaf blower and blow them out on the lowest setting. Works like a champ.
