It was only used in the house. the material is like military poncho liner (sometimes called a woobie). It measures 54 inches long and 27.5 inches wide completely zipped up. It can be unzipped and used as a blanket. It measures 55 inches by 54 inches when completely unzipped. There are no holes. There was a repair along the zipper where it attaches to the material. Also, some of the stitching that holds the top filler and bottom together has come undone. This does not affect the use and the bag is still serviceable for a small child or as a blanket/throw.
