KORG TRINITY OWNERS This is a new item, programs were finished 3/9/12 as the 3rd disk in a series of programs for the Korg Tinity keyboard. As you know or have heard, the Korg Trinity has one of the better sound engines and is much better than the factory sounds would suggest. I have even been able to get some very good piano sounds out of this that are better than the Triton or previous models (M, T or O1/W) but do fall short of the subtle quality of sound that the M3 is getting. Some of the synth, string and pad sounds are very usable even by todays standards are the organs are good, but will not be quite as good as the Korg Triton Extreme or the M3. This set of programs are all very organized; double checked through Pro Tools 8 volume levels are set so that upon loading this disk and changing programs, the volumes will remain relatively consistant from patch to patch. Sounds are in order, 20 pianos (Pianos, grands, EP, EP grands), 20 Organs (variety), 20 pads (including Choir, Vox ), 20 Bells (more of synthe type than Yamaha type sounds), 10 strings (tape, analog, acoustic, synthe-spacey), 20 synth (some combi, layered patchespans, and unique patches here), 18 lead synth (including an electric violin sound, edited Genesis "Congo" lead - only factory one that is edited for this and on other disk, included it since I felt this one was actually good and should not be lost and a variety of mostly Moog, Arp type sounds, some creative sounds as well). Again, these are all on a high quality new disk with new plastic storage case mailed in a padded envelope. Programmers note- I have spent time with, edited, prorgammed from scratch Moog, Arp, Oberheim, Sequential Circuits, Yamaha, and Korg instruments throughout the years. I also got to spend a day with the original Moog (it filled a small room). I will tell you that the Trinity is one of the better pre 2000 synths out there; but one should buy, or learn to make sounds for these, you will think again about selling or buying one of these. O1/W and N264/364 do have better factory patches as does the M3, but I did find that the Trinity and Triton factory sounds fell short of what these synths can do. Also, no eq, comp, nor any effect used on Pro Tools, volume at 1/2 way mark on Trinity, pushing 0 on Pro Tools. If you are looking at the other disks this one is the more synth type; no drums, bass, perc...where the Custom Disk is the more generic (for studio or live with emphasis on variety.
