This uncirculated 1,000 Lao kip banknote is a standard circulation note that is introduced by the National Bank of Laos in 1963 and signed by Phagna Oudong Souvannavong. It is a brown note that measures 170 mm x 82 mm. Its obverse side features King Sisavang Vatthana, the Makmo stupa in the temple of Wat Visoun, and palm trees. Its reverse side depicts three men in long canoes on a river. Security features include a solid security thread and a national coat of arms watermark. The note was withdrawn in 1976.
