You are bidding on a very unique Kentucky geode half! I cracked this beauty with a soil pipe cutter and cut it with my 7" tub saw. The measurements and weight are shown with the ruler and scale in some of the pictures. Kentucky geodes sometimes get a bad rap for being dirty, but I find many of them to be unique and stunning specimens! Inside, there is a combination of the usual quartz and iron staining, but so many places in the geode sparkle! The outside is bumpy and shows the common rind formation. The pictures were taken with an iPhone. This would make a nice addition to your geode or mineral collection.
