The Larsen Tzigane violin string set delivers smooth, saturated and warm sound, inspired by Maurice Ravel’s work Tzigane. Designed for rapid play-in time with excellent focus and projection, the strings in the Tzigane set offer a mellow accompaniment for brighter- to neutral-sounding instruments. They are available in medium and heavy tensions, with the heavy tension offering greater volume and bow resistance. The G and D are made from a multi-filament nylon core, precision-wound with silver; the A has a multi-filament nylon core precision-wound with aluminum; and the E is made of solid unwound carbon steel. The strings are available with a ball or loop end.
