It is new, however there are some blemishes and some areas that have a white substance on them, and it comes as shown in pictures. It measures roughly 40" x 45 1/2" overall, measured at the longest and widest points. There is a seam down the center so to get some straight edge pieces you would be able to get 2 pieces measuring roughly 11" x 30 and 17" x 33".
