The built in power supply is working, powering both upper and lower lamps as well as the microscopes electronic functions. Internal optics are in good condition. Has in integrated Bertrand lens and eight place cube turret in the fluorescence Illuminator. Has an encoded nosepiece. Motorized focus will not move the stage. You can hear it activating but the display immediately states "End!" if you try to go up or down. It's almost as if someone has set the upper and lower limits at the same place. I read through the manual but could not figure out how to change these limits so no matter what I tried, when I tried to focus the display immediately read "End" indicating that it had reached the end of its travel limits. The on/off power switch on the stand is extremely hard to push, so I left it in the on position. Because I could not figure out the focus issue, I opted to part this microscope out, the stand is being sold as-is for parts or repair. No lamp included. The one shown in the picture is only to demotrate it is working. Item#524031M
