It is intended to be used on 170mm TL Leitz microscopes but could successfully be used on other manufacturers as well. The optical and cosmetic condition are pristine with a huge n.a. of 0.75! It does require the use of a cover slip with thickness of 0.17mm. The lens is free of dust, scratches, fungus, oil incursion into interior elements and element separations. Fluorenz microscope objectives give very sweet, sharp, contrasty and color-filled images in reflected light fluorescence. You will not find a better example of this objective anywhere.
