With this log mover just roll the log to the edge of the rack and tip it onto it. From there it will glide easily on the steel by removing most of the friction. After you put your log splitter in a vertical position set this rack up to the foot. Then when you roll the large logs up to it tip them over onto the rack The large log will glide over the rack to aline with the splitter.
