Check the listing for details. M1 Helmet Liner (10th Infantry Division) - 85th Decal. Condition: Used. Listed at 200.00 USD. The M1 helmet liner features the original guard/parade white paint, along with a 10th Infantry Division decal on the right side and an “85” decal on the left. The “85” stands for the 85th Infantry Regiment. This liner is also marked with a last name decal on the front and a rank marking. The helmet has clearly seen its fair share of action and is not in pristine condition. There’s a noticeable crack on the side. It was discovered in an old attic filled with WWII military gear. The owner was a glider pilot during the war, and this was part of his collection. I wish I had more information about the history of this intriguing piece of military memorabilia.
