These springs are not for the centerfire 1911 pistols but is specifically made for the 22LR. They are shorter and have a smaller inner diameter than the typical 45ACP type 1911 main spring. Direct replacement factory weight main spring is 20 pounds. Just like our centerfire main and recoil springs for the 1911 and Glock pistols, each spring weight has a designated color to help easily identify the spring value.
