Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for the Marantz 16 amplifier. This includes replacements for all electrolytic caps in the Marantz 16, as well as some of the film caps. It also includes parts for the service bulletin, which applies to serial numbers 16-1456 to 16-3000. The main filter caps are upgraded to 6800 uf caps as per another service bulletin. This kit includes 16 axial Supertech capacitors, four radial Nichicon PW capacitors (for the relay boards), 2 silver mica caps, 2 radial film caps, and four screw-terminal Kemet 6800 uf 100v main filter caps, which are perfect upgrades from the originals and will fit nicely in the old clamps. They are a bit shorter than the originals, but will still work great. The new Supertech caps are the same capacitance as the originals except the 125 uf caps are upgraded to 150 uf and the 16 uf caps are upgraded to 22 uf. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Marantz equipment. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a little complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. Please see my pictures for details.
