Displays a three-ting target suspended from a bar with the title above that states RIFLE MARKSMAN which is different from the old badge. This badge is awarded and worn to individuals that have an expertise level of shooting with a specific firearm or any other US military weapon. To earn this badge you must score a 190 to 209 on the official US Marine examination. The rifle marksman badge is similar to the pistol marksman badge, the only difference is the size of the rifle badge is bigger. Measures at 1 ⅞ inch with a mirror, shiny finish while being made in the USA.
