Nutgrass Eliminator can be used in well-established commercial & residential turfgrass and around woody ornamentals in landscaped areas. It can be used on both cool-season & warm-season grasses. (See the label for list of tolerant grasses). Nutgrass Eliminator is easy to use. Just add the contents of one of the ½ ounce pouches to a gallon of water, mixing or shaking the solution to ensure ingredients are completely dispersed. Apply this gallon of mixture to 1,000 square feet of well-established turfgrass. (See the label for complete directions). Nutgrass Eliminator often works with one application. Herbicide symptoms – a ring of dead tissue at the base of the plant - are likely to show within 2 weeks, even though the leaves remain green. Depending on the size and age of the nutsedge, a second treatment 6 – 10 weeks after the initial application may be needed.
