Mary Lee Candies was founded in the 1920s and lasted at least into the 1950s. This box held an assortment of two pounds of chocolates. It features a couple in colonial(?) dress-up garb making a dance move. The colors are red and gold on a white background. Apparently there were stores in Detroit Michigan although this box was made in Norwalk Ohio. It measures 9.5" x 5.5" x 2"high. The box is structurally sound. The paper covering the lid has foxing and a few tears on the corners. It only weighs 4 ounces.
