Description: hand-built stoneware with layered slips, iron/oxide washes and a semi-gloss clear glaze. the surface carries marbled bands of dark umber and charcoal over a milky white ground. Gestural slip marks resolve into a suggestive visage on one side, Areas of intentional crazing, pinholing and slip “skips” add texture and depth; some zones read waxy/matte where the glaze pooled thinly—typical of the artist’s process.
