The Maxicup is a multi-use drinker, self-filling with built-in float valve, and a water capacity of 8 oz. Made of high-quality material, it’s designed to use on old water tanks, buckets, trash cans or any other type of container that can be turned into reservoirs for your birds’ drinking water. It is easy to fit, maintain and can be used outside or indoor. The cup is suitable for most pets, including chickens, ducks, geese, quail, game birds and wild birds. Easy to install, comes with a washer/gasket, wing nut, and filter. Filter helps prevent potential contaminants from blocking up the water flow into the cup. Unlike many of the other cheaper-made drinkers, MaxiCup does not leak, and there is no need for your chickens to press a float valve to release the water, it is self-filling. Simply drill a hole into the water container with a ½" (12mm) drill at a suitable height (breast level) for your birds or pets. Place the Maxicup spigot through the hole leaving the washer on the outside of the container and tighten down the nut until it forms a seal with the wall of the container – then fit the filter behind the nut. Fill with water, check angle and retighten if necessary. To maintain the Maxicup is simple simply undo the two screws securing the cup to the filter cover, separate the two halves and then clean the float and interior of the housing, then reassemble.
