Mitutoyo MP-5 Mini-Processor 264-530 w/Case For sale- a Mitutoyo MP-5 Mini-Processor 264-530 with a protective Case and a box of printer rolls as pictured. There is also an assortment of printer pens, but no telling how old they are so those may or may not work. Which may also apply to the MP-5. It comes with the original Mitutoyo AC adaptor, but for some reason that was missing the plug that fits into the MP-5. So I had to splice another one on, and that works fine. But when you power the thing up it immediately says REPLACE BATTERY and refuses to go further. The trouble is I CAN’T FIND a battery in the thing anywhere. There is a battery in the included memory card, I replaced that and that changed nothing. I know it must have a battery somewhere because the picture of the display was accidentally taken without the thing being plugged into AC, so apparently whatever battery it is that needs replacing has taken enough of a charge to keep it on at least momentarily. There are several pieces that come off but they do not expose a battery compartment. I have a quick guide but not a manual for it, the guide says nothing about replacing the battery. I even tried to take the bottom cover off but it felt like I was going to break it so I gave up. If you want to tell me how to get at the battery and it isn’t something too esoteric I will try to replace it. For now it is sold as is, and you will need to replace the battery yourself.
