The D-Lite Model 100 Light Modulator is a unique "frequency sensitive" instrument which performs best when connected to a Hi-Fi stereo system. It's performance is directly affected by the frequency response of the sound system. Also, its tone controls will directly influence the balance of light modulation.In other words the D-Lite Model 100 Controller will convert sound into colored lights which move in syncopation with frequency & intensity. Complete instructions are included to help with operation and installation. However, the original supplied phono cables that connected the unit between a sound system and speakers are missing. Also, these are RCA type connecters which are NOT usually used as speaker connectors anymore. What will have to be done is to find or adapt cables that have an RCA phono plug on one end and bare speaker wire on the other (or whatever your system requires)Unit appears to have only been seldom used.
