They have 6 coated hooks and can stretch to over double their size. These are a very handy item to keep on your bike as they can be used to hold down all sorts of items. The elastic cord on these is almost twice as thick and some we've carried. They are pretty heavy duty --especially for the price. I tried to show that in the picture..but it was a challenge trying to get it to hang straight. k316539
