Please Note:Not suitable for mono-shock suspension units or Harley Davidson models. See attached photos of the tool in use. This tool compresses the shock absorber spring allowing the collets to be freely removed (and refitted) for the shock absorber to be fully dismantled and re-assembled. Requires use of regular 17mm spanner. This universal tool comes with 3 extra spacer rings enabling the tool to work on rear suspension units that require the following collets clearance: 35mm, 47mm, 51mm & 56mm.
