This is a very rare and hard to find Sharpening Fixture .It was taken apart to clean it (last 3 pictures) and inspect all parts of it.It has angle adjustments in many ways ,and everything pivots very smoothly . Everything looks great. It was lubed up to prevent any corrosion. I'm not sure exactly what type of tooling bits it works best for sharpening .Maybe you know exactly what it's best for. The price is very low for it's great shape. Look over all the pictures and send any questions if you have any. This will be packaged properly and shipped right away. The main round shaft is 1.950" diameter and the rectangle slot through it measures 1.0" x .50" . This could be altered or possibly bolt many different jigs to it to sharpen many different tools. These maneuvers is so many compound angles a good machinist could easily change this unit for sharpening all sorts of tooling.Your imagination could be endless. For now there is just the rectangle slot through the one end to hold some kind of tooling....A good machinist could alter this in many ways to sharpen almost anything. A person could also make bolt-on attachments to hold a variety of tooling that need to be sharpened. With all the compound angles this can be moved to, sharpening could become very consistent time after time.
