Check the listing for details. Nanohmics Analog &Digital COMS Boards 32-Channel APD Array, Avalanche Photodiode. Condition: Used. Listed at 899.00 USD. Nanohmics Analog and Digital COMS Boards 32-Channel APD Array For sale- a Pair of Nanohmics Analog and Digital COMS Boards as pictured, a 32-Channel APD Array. Poking around on the internet I believe APD stands for Avalanche Photodiode. These were in what I would assume was a prototype laser detector system produced for NASA, as there were no identifying marks or logos on the hard case the system was housed in. The boards are dated 2008, so I would guess they were cutting edge at the time. Nanohmics would appear to still be in the imaging business these days, but whether the boards can be redeployed I leave for you to determine. The sale includes an unmarked 1KV high voltage power supply that was connected to it. When I say unmarked the PS has a small 12 VDC power supply attached that powers the HV PS, that might potentially be covering a logo or model number but I don’t see it being worth trying to pry the two apart. Also includes the connectors and leads that went to the same brand of small power supplies only 5VDC. Unfortunately I can’t give you any guidance on how to connect those wires as there was not much room in the case to get a look at things until I had it all stripped out. All items are sold as is with no warranty offered unless one is specifically stated. However, IF you pay the Buy It Now price and find a problem that you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it for a refund of the purchase price. Accepted Best Offers are strictly as is sale and no returns will be accepted. Any testing done will be explicitly stated in the listing and any accessory items will also be mentioned or pictured. If it isn’t pictured or mentioned you can assume it is not part of the sale. The NASA facility this came from was doing a lot of research on LIDAR and there were other LIDAR related pieces in the same lot, but I can’t say with any degree of certaintuy that that is what the system this was taken from was all about. The gold connector on the sparsely populated digital board provided the trigger signal (I think) to a Laser Components Canada diode laser operating at 905nm, being offered separately. The ribbon connector went to an RLC XSCALE MINI embedded controller/SBC, also being sold separately. Please check out my other listings for those and more interesting laser and optical equipment. Check back often! Please add a $13.99 flat rate for shipping anywhere in the continental US (which does NOT include Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam or APO/FPO addresses). I will ship via the carrier and level of service of my choice unless we specifically decide on a favored carrier option. I will, at my option, ship worldwide via USPS for the actual cost as determined by USPS.com.
