Up for sale is a National NC-98 general coverage receiver in good, original condition. The receiver was inspected and some capacitors were replaced so it could be safely operated. It will need a complete restoration but it does work for now. The housing and knobs look good with some wear/age. At some point a switch was added to the outside of the cabinet. I think it’s a power cutoff so the radio has no idle current while on standby. It’s also missing the bottom cover but something could be made up with some sheetmetal to fit the opening. Perfect for a complete restoration or just daily use.
