UL 1007 Wire UL1007 is a polyvinyl chloride insulated hook-up wire with a maximum voltage rating of 300 volts. This UL-approved appliance wiring material wire has tinned copper conductors for improved moisture, oxidation, and corrosion resistance. The wire's PVC insulation resists abrasion, moisture, ozone, acids, solvents, and fungus. It has good flame resistance. Applications include the internal wiring in electrical and electronic control panels as well as generators, turbines, and transformers. UL 1007 wire is available in a range of ten colors. Some versions have dual UL ratings.
