This adapter plugs in to a NEMA 14-30 outlet and supplies 240V to a standard wall outlet. Useful for Chevy Bolt and some other EVs that come with 120V trickle-chargers. This will let you charge at double the speed (compared to a standard 120V wall outlet). Please note: Using this adapter lets you double the voltage, but you will still be limited to 12 amps due to the limitation of your vehicles trickle-charge cord. This adapter offers a bargain solution to double your charging speed. For the fastest charging, we recommend using our adjustable charger instead which can go up to 32 amps - thats nearly three times faster than this adapter can do. *WARNING: Please make sure your vehicles charging cord can safely operate at 240V.
