This uncirculated 1 Nepalese rupee banknote was introduced by the Nepal Rastra Bank in 1990-1995 ND and signed by Hari Shankar Tripathi. It is a blue, purple, gold, and brown banknote that measures 106 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side depicts King Birendra in his royal dress and cap, a basaha (bull) facing the Pashupatinath Temple, an obverse side of a coin, wood carvings, and clouds. Its reverse side shows the bank logo, a pillar, a couple of musk deer jumping over a creek, and Mount Amadablam. Though the banknote does not have a security thread, it has a plumed crown watermark.
