It has a color combination of blue, purple, gold, and brown. Its obverse features King Birendra in a royal dress and a plumed crown. It also displays a bull facing the Pashupatinath temple, the obverse of a coin, wood carvings, and clouds. The reverse depicts the bank logo, a pillar, and the coat of arms of Nepal. It also displays a male and a female musk deer jumping over a creek with Mount Amadablam in the background. The note does not contain a security thread. Its watermark reveals a plumed crown.
