It is a pink, brown, and green banknote that bears the signature of Dr. Tilak Bahadur Rawal, and measures 120 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows the portrait of King Gyanendra, the temple of Taleju in Kathmandu, and an obverse of a coin. Its reverse side depicts two yaks grazing with Mount Everest in the background.
