Welcome to Antiques & Moore!This listing is for a wonderful early 19th Century antique Scottish silver mounted and jeweled Ram's Horn Snuff Mull, c. 1820.The body is made from a natural ram's horn with beautiful curled end. Mounted with decorative silver lid and small oval cartouche engraved "Andrew Tack". The silver has its naturally aged patina. The hinge is tight, although the lid no longer stays closed. Silver unmarked. Measures 3" long, 3 1/4" wide with the top being 1 5/8" in diameter.The mull is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use. There is a natural crack on upper body of lid (see photos).
