If you are looking for press brake tooling to form an offset bend in sheet metal, these 3D printed press brake dies might be just what you need! These are a cost effective alternative to hardened, tool steel press brake dies which can cost thousands of dollars. Our dies are 3D printed using a high compressive strengthpolymer,making it possible to bend sheet metal. These are american style press brake tools with a 1/2" x 1/2" tang. Maximum recommended material thickness will vary depending on the offset distance. For reference, the main pictures show 1/2" offset tooling that was used to form bends in 16ga steel. Smaller offsets will not be capable of bending 16ga since the required forming tonnage increases as the "v-opening" decreases. Larger offsets will be able to bend thicker metals which will need to be determined through testing. **Always wear safety glasses when using this product. Bending thicker metal can cause damage to the dies and increased wear on the tips of punch and V opening. Sharp burrs on edge of metal can cut into dies. As with normal steel dies, do not allow the edge of material to slide into V opening as it can cause increased wear. Actual color of product may vary from what is shown in pictures.
