It's flat bottom gives it great stability and its ample space is perfect for a variety of activities like fishing or just taking the family out on the water while still making it efficient to paddle long distances. I've paddled these boats my whole life and used them to do everything from float a river, to shooting class 4 whitewater in the middle of a 30-day wilderness trip. This one does have some minor wear and tear of some scratches in the bottom and has one fiberglass patch on the bottom of the boat below the stern seat.
