Original Filter Sock is on top, notice its more like a small nylon panty hose, easy to run, shred and tear. Try washing a nylon panty off with a garden hose, you'll see it will not last long under that type of water pressure.. So how else do they expect you to clean this thing out?? My filters will NOT rip from water pressure from your garden hose!!!!! The bottom is my version, a fine but strong filtration rated material, resists tears and does not run!
