Original, new/old stock desert subdued shoulder sleeve insignia (sleeve patch) for US Army Special Operations Command (SOCOM) as worn on the Desert Camouflage Uniform. Now obsolete. The patch is fully-embroidered, with a finished, merrowed edge border. These patches, and others, came from the supply room of a sew shop that had been in business in the Fort Lewis area since the Second World War era. That business recently closed down permanently and our shop bought a substantial amount of its vintage stock, including insignia for several older units that were also disbanded.
