Original, new/old stock subdued pocket insignia for the 111th Air Support Operations Center of the Washington Air National Guard, as worn on the obsolete Woodland Camouflage Battle Dress Uniform or BDU. The patch is embroidered on heavy twill, with a finished, cut edge border and plastic on reverse side. It measures 86mm by 60mm These patches, and others, came from the supply room of a sew shop that had been in business in the Fort Lewis area since the Second World War era. That business recently closed down permanently and our shop bought a substantial amount of its vintage stock, including insignia for several older units that were also disbanded.
