Check the listing for details. Original WWII Spitfire Part Morse Code Light Spine Lamp RAF Air Ministry Tag. Condition: Used, Made in United Kingdom. Listed at 89.99 USD. Mounted just aft of the Spitfire’s IFF antenna, the Morse Code ‘Spine Lamp’ featured a fuselage flush-fit housing around a clear teardrop lens over a white transmitting bulb. A small bakelite morse code, key pad and housing was mounted on the starboard side wall of the cockpit just below the spare gunsight bulb rack and was used for air to air communication with other fighters nearby when radio silence was required.
