No jigs or forms are used, and no pre-made parts are prepared or used. Each one is hand built and unique--down to leaving even the pencil marks as common in old Amish building and barn construction. Wide, thick planks create a solid, more comfortable place of rest. This is an outdoor design and rugged construction not meant to have perfect finish, cuts, etc, and each one will vary slightly giving it a unique character and hand built authenticity. No warranties express or implied and accepting delivery is "as is." As with any outdoor wood furniture proper care is required to keep it in good condition and to enjoy it for its intended lifespan. For example, depending on your local weather conditions, at least once or twice a year, applying an exterior wood sealer is required.
