Pair of Mid-Century Silver Plate Mid Serving Dishes with Spoons – hallmarkedFor our Valentine’s dinner, we decided to make it look & feel like springtime in the south – reminiscent of our youth spent at my Grandmother’s cotton & tobacco plantation in North Carolina. We used lots of various shades of pink in our table decor & plenty of southern foods such as ham, black eyed peas, corn pudding & spoon bread. To set out our vegetables, we are using an especially lovely, matched pair of silver plate sculptured pedestal serving dishes. They measurer 12” in length; 10 inches wide; and 3 inches deep. They sit 2” off the table on a 6-inch oval pedestal stand. They are rounded in an oval shape with gorgeous, scalloped edges. They are hallmarked on the bottom. We have paired each dish with a large, silver-plated serving spoon for your convenience. My Mother was famous for saying “you can never have enough serving spoons.” We have had them restored & they will be delivered to your home in glistening, polished condition.Item = Pair of mid-century silver-plated oval pedestal serving dishes with serving spoons.Material = Silver plate.Origin = AmericanMaker = hallmarked on bottom.Period = Mid Century—early 50’s.Measurements = 12 inches long by 10 inches wide by 3 inches deep.Condition = Excellent condition.
