I thought it was something else. It does not have the remote. The remote is available on eBay or Walmart. This is a media streamer. I do not know when it was released or what it is compatible with. No cable just the power cord. The only testing I did was plugged it in turned it on and hooked my TV to it with HDMI . And you can see in the first picture what I got. It is the home screen. Without a remote, there was nothing more I could do. This is not a new item. Has sticker residue on top and some light scuffing. I D 81624ynbnz
