The message read: “AIRRAID ON PEARL HARBOR X THIS IS NO DRILL” Digitally enhanced and professionally reprinted (not some junk printed on a home computer printer) only the best possible quality. The Radiogram was sent just minutes after the attack began from Commander in Chief of the Pacific Fleet (CINCPAC) Admiral Kimmel, to all ships in Hawaiian area, December 7, 1941. Husband Edward Kimmel was a United States Navy four-star admiral who was the commander in chief of the United States Pacific Fleet during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
