This 100 Philippine piso note commemorates the 100th anniversary of the founding of De La Salle University, one of the top universities in the Philippines. This note was issued in 2011, demonetized in 2017, and signed by Philippine President Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino and Central Bank Governor Amando M. Tetangco Jr. Its obverse side contains the green De La Salle 1911-2011 overprint, Filipino text, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal, a depiction of Roxas lowering the US flag and raising the Philippine flag in Manilas Independence Grandstand, and a portrait of former President Manuel A. Roxas. Its reverse side contains Filipino text and the old and new Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas buildings in Manila. Security features of the note include a windowed security text with demetalized 100, a solid security thread, and a watermark of Manuel Roxas. This note has purple and blue colors and dimensions of 160 mm x 66 mm. It is also in uncirculated condition and authenticated by Banknote World experts.
