This uncirculated 100 Philippine peso note commemorates the Department of Agriculture and the National Year of Rice in 2013. It is dated 2013 and bears the signatures of President Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III and Central Bank Governor Amando Maglalang Tetangco Jr. The purple and blue note measures 160 mm long and 66 mm wide. Its obverse side contains a black NATIONAL YEAR OF RICE overprint, Filipino text, the Central Bank seal, a depiction of the first flag ceremony after the Philippines declared its independence from the US, and a portrait of former President Manuel Acuña Roxas. Its reverse side shows the old Central Bank building and the new Central Bank complex in Manila. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized 100, a solid security thread, and a watermark of Manuel Roxas. The note was demonetized in 2017.
